Fenyves Malom Veszprém is the only surviving watermill, which is opening an interactive mill history exhibition October 1, 2021.

The reason why is interactive mill history exhibition, because every visitor can touch and try those old mill tools. Several hand mills will be set up where those interested can experience the difficulties of grinding, also they can take the ground wheat with them in a small flour bag. Kids can sift, weigh themselves with glaze, sharp millstones, and watch the process of assembling a water wheel.

At the entrance, visitors get a small map that allows them to playfully get acquainted with old devices. In the children's corner we also provide the opportunity to entertain themselves (eg with a watermill puzzle, wooden toys, folk toys, kitchenette). For us is important to save books, that is why we put a book self outside. Anyone can bring a book and put there, also if someone find interesting book, they can take away.

The official opening of the interactive exhibition will be on October 2, 2021 10:00 am. After grand opening, the Kabóca Puppet Theater will perform for kids. Adults can taste wine from the Selections of BorZsongó, and Bábos Mesekuckó Veszprém (Szabina Birkás) awaits the younger ones in the playroom.

Admission: HUF 500 / person (free for children under 3)

Due to the fact that we can only allow a limited number of people into the interior of the mill at a time, please let everyone know in advance your intention to participate (how many people would arrive) at [email protected] or at 0670-455-4134.
