András Szöllősi-Nagy

Art collector; water engineer and hydrologist by profession, Dr. Techn., PhD, Dr. habil., Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Professor at the Ludovika University of Public Service, UNESCO Chair. For nearly thirty years he lived in France with his wife, painter Judit Nemes. The modern and contemporary collection, mostly representinginternational geometric and concrete art, was brought home from Paris and moved toBalatonfüred as part of the European Capital of Culture event series. The Modern Gallery (MOMŰ) consists of the fine art and photographic material of the Szöllősi-Nagy - Nemes Collection.
