Due to the complexity and the territorial scope of the European Capital of Culture programme, it exceeds the resources of Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Zrt. The company, which is owned by the city of Veszprém and the cities and major communities of the region, is responsible for the overall coordination of the ECOC as well as the programme development and the execution of its cultural and artistic projects. The tasks that surpass these functions are executed by the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Zrt. together with the local service providers, cultural, civil and market partners of the city and the region.
