Balázs Kovács

Balázs Kovács is Head of Vienna-based GD Consulting office, an international tourism expert, and co-editor and host of Dunakavicsok turisztikai podcast on the world of New Tourism. He is a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). Between 2008 and 2017 he was Head of the Austrian representation of Hungarian Tourism Jsc. and the Hungarian Tourism Agency, and a member of the Board of Corps Touristique Austria. During his public service, he has been deeply involved in the research and modelling of the relationship between quality of life and tourism. His clients in the field of cultural tourism include the tourism organisation of the city of Linz, European Capital of Culture 2009. He is happy to share his experiences as a lecturer, conference speaker, blogger and podcaster.
