The Municipal Government of Zánka organises the Day of Bakony-Balaton Values on the first weekend of September, intending to create a tradition with artisans and their products from the Bakony-Balaton settlements and with amateur traditionalist and cultural groups of the region.
The programme allows visitors to learn about the local history and cultural values of the Bakony and Lake Balaton settlements, and the estimable people who live here. They will witness traditional programmes, folk music, folk tales and folk dance while enjoying a bite of kettle-cooked dishes on the beautiful Zánka beach. The event appeals to all ages, children and adults alike.
