Tamás Fejérdy
He is an ICOMOS Piero Gazzola Award-winning architect, specialised engineer in monument conservation, DLA. From 1976 to 2013 he worked at the Hungarian Central Institute for Monument Protection, and in 2002/2003 he was acting chairman of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. An International Honorary Member of ICOMOS, Associate Professor at Technical University Budapest (BME), Professor at the University of Pannonia, he is also a staff member of iASK/FTI and UNESCO Departments in Kőszeg. His fields of expertise are integrated protection of monuments/built heritage, World Heritage cooperation, theoretical and practical issues related to historic buildings.
