Graham Bell
Graham Bell is a board member of Europa Nostra. He has governance responsibilities for NGOs across Europe including the Magyar Reneszánsz Alapítvány (az Épített Környezetért)(MRA) which he set up in 2007, modelled on Cultura Trust in the UK, of which he is director. He was UK National Co-ordinator for 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage and was an invited guest at the launch of the Hungarian programme in the Academy of Sciences in Budapest. Graham has a longstanding role with iASK, Kőszeg, as tutor, researcher and speaker, including publishing ‘Legacy or Liability: The Value of Cultural Heritage in a Civil Society’. He has presented Europa Nostra awards in Hungary, including to the Royal Palace of Gödöllő and Budapest 100 and has recently been appointed by the Council of Europe as a specialist mentor and advisor on cultural heritage and democracy.
