In the Spirit of a Thousand Years of Friendship

True to tradition, a series of events under the auspices of the National Polish Self-Government will come to Veszprém during the 2023 Polish Cultural Festival. The European Capital of Culture year will host renowned Polish performers and artists and provide opportunities to become better acquainted with the spirit of the thousand-year-old friendship between Poles and Hungarians and deepen Hungary’s relationship with other cultures and nationalities. A one-month exhibition of famous Polish painters will open during the Gisela Days. The Krakow Folk Dance Ensemble’s performance promises to be a sold-out evening in May. On 11 November, a Veszprém tradition, the Polish Independence Day Concert will offer a special musical treat to the audience.
