Mária Ivicz Boros

A retired chemical engineer and marketing professional. 26 years ago, a concert brought her to magical Vászoly, where she eventually settled. She has designed publications about the village and for many years wrote and edited the local newspaper. She feels the role of quality cultural programmes in shaping the community is important; she strives to involve young people and seeks opportunities for cooperation with the surrounding villages. She is also the main organiser of the Vászoly Summer events.
