Mini Carnegie Hall

From Big to Small, from Small to Big.

What can we do if Veszprém’s very youngest talented musicians are tired of the old and dull routine of music school concerts, with no more inspiring, creativity-inducing adrenaline spike?

The answer is to create a concert hall similar to the most famous in the world!

A mini-concert hall.

With dazzling lights, real velvet curtains, technology, glitter...

Make the illusion convincing! For 10 minutes in the evening, make the dream of every music-loving kid on planet Earth come true right here in the centre of the world - the pedestrian street of Veszprém!

Embraced by the light of reflectors, you walk onto the world's most important stage as the applause roars in this most famous concert hall in the world, and above the entrance, a giant banner flashes out your name.

Beyond dreams, this project is about music education, treated as a priority, not only because Veszprém is the European Capital of Culture but also because it is a UNESCO City of Music.

For the same reason, an essential participant in this year-long series of concerts is the city dweller, the tourist, the onlooker, the passer-by, and the man on his way home from work, who usually wouldn’t attend such events, but will stop by the performing stars (children), the lights, the crowds… and the music.
