Samu Szemerey

Architect, urban planner. His areas of expertise are the interaction between the built environment and information technologies, and brownfield and cultural development programmes. As a planner and consultant, he has worked with cities, institutions and market actors over the past two decades, and has managed and directed numerous development programmes, professional events, research and exhibitions in Hungary and Europe. He is a founding member of the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre and currently its professional director. Since 2024, he has been a partner and professional director of DANU.
