Veszprém Early Music Days
Early Music Days is a more intimate, personal, and direct festival than usual, in a beautifully natural and historical setting, with a focus on the music of the pre-Romantic era. Traditionally held at the end of July, the event celebrates its 10th anniversary in the baroque Jesuit church built on the ruins of the Greek Orthodox convent in Veszprém Valley.
Performers of the early music movement seek to revive the musical legacy of the period from the Middle Ages to the time of Viennese Classicism. They will introduce the audience to the rich and diverse music of the five-to-six centuries before Romanticism, recited by the most outstanding international and national performers.
