Oulu, Finland to Hold European Capital of Culture Title 2026
A few days ago it was made official that the city of Oulu in northern Finland won the European Capital of Culture title for 2026.

The winning programme is built around the theme of cultural climate change with the aim of presenting the role of sustainability in the domains of culture, the economy, environment protection and ecology.
On behalf of all colleagues of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture programme we would like to express our congatulations to Oulu and wish them all the best in reaching their goals!
