5th Badacsony New Wine Tasting
This year we will gather again in the centre of the wine region, in Badacsony, in the Hableány building, for a vintage tasting and meeting.
The Mermaid was originally a community space and meeting point, a venue for harvest balls and tastings: we would like to continue this after the renovation, so we will organise the new wine tasting again in 2024 with the intention of creating a tradition.
There's no better time than November, the new wine season: we can breathe a little easier, we're already past the harvest and we can finally taste the first "fruits" of our labour, the exciting, fresh new wines. That's why we're gathering on 23 November, but it's just a chance to meet.
The common point is Badacsony, the respect for quality, terroir, the joy of creation and the celebration together. Thus, the participating winemakers will bring not only a new wine, but also 2 exciting older batches.
