Every May, the largest multidisciplinary arts festival in the City of Queens fills the streets of the castle quarter and the city centre with a colourful cavalcade of free music, art, theatre, literature and family events.

The band was founded in Szeged in 2005. In 2009, Parazita was released, which was noticed by MTV Hungary and MR2-Petőfi Radio. The first real breakthrough success came in 2010 with the song "Portugál".

2011-2012 is a time of great change. Jazz singer Zsófia Tarján joined the formation. This is how they made their second album, which was released in the autumn of 2014 by Gold Record. The album's title track, "A legnagyobb hős", which also made it to the final of A Dal, was accompanied by a highly successful animated video with Zsófi's drawings. Several hits were born from the album's soundtrack, such as "Egyedül" (Alone) or the song "Maradok" (I Remain), which can still be heard on the radio today.

The group has two gold albums to their name ("A legnagyobb hős" and "Bódottá"), and their songs are known to audiences outside of sold-out concerts. Their special Symphoney performance has been a huge hit across the country. Their album "Súlytalan" was released in 2017, followed by "Élet a Marson" a year later.

On 21 November 2018, the band repeated the Symphoney concert at the Arena, which was "bigger and louder".

In spring 2020, after the release of "Túlélő" with Caramel, Honeybeast's latest album "Ego" debuted, featuring artists such as Bea Palya, Dani Gerendás and Fura Csé.
