Every May, the largest multidisciplinary arts festival in the City of Queens fills the streets of the castle quarter and the city centre with a colourful cavalcade of free music, art, theatre, literature and family events.

The songs of the three-piece Konyha need no introduction: their song Százszor visszajátszott is in its third bloom on Tiktok - while on Youtube it is slowly reaching twenty million views - their allstar memorial song Földrevaló, written for Juli Fábián, is a constant ode to the airwaves, and every six months or so they release a new radio hit (Harcoshalak, Tegnap éjjel, Mindig idebent, etc.). The band's career started in the underground, playing to a narrow but enthusiastic core of fans until their breakthrough fourth album, but by their own admission, these years have forged the band together musically and personally. Although critics tend to focus on the strength and personality of the lyrics - singer-guitarist Mátyás Szepesi has won every songwriting award in existence in recent years - the energetic playing of the other two frontmen, bassist Dániel Haller and drummer Márk Badics, is a key factor in the band's diverse musical profile and the energy of their live performances.
