Modern technology will revamp the county library's lending system The Eötvös Károly County Library's Adventure (Book) Repository project will introduce the first self-service lending system in the region, using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. It will also offer off-site and after-hours book returns.

The Bibliobox is a crucial pillar of the project. If the shopping mall is the temple of consumption and the library is the temple of culture, then the two separate temples are combined in the Bibliobox. In one of the popular shopping malls, a self-service RFID-enabled kiosk allows readers to return books through the Bibliobox after the library's opening hours. This innovative and convenient solution targets young people and passive target groups.

To promote the new service, the library will start a combined game in 2023, based on quizzes, knowing the neighbourhood, library use and grab bags, combined with individual walks to mark local and regional anniversaries.

The Grab Bags game is based on knowledge of the borrowing habits of library visitors, with librarians creating book bags based on readers' interests. Readers will be able to choose books by selecting them at random without knowing the specific works.
