International support to ECoC

Veszprém has significant international connections. In the last couple of months, we received encouraging words from a number of cooperating partners with regard to our ECoC 2023 application. Special video messages were received from Mayors of the following partner cities:
• Bojan Šrot, Mayor, Celje, Slovenia
• Esko Lotvonen, Mayor, Rovaniemi, Finland – The Finnish city has been twin city of Veszprém since 1974
• Urmas Klaas, Mayor, Tartu, Estonia – The Estonian town has been twin city of Veszprém since 1970
• Miran Sencar, Mayor, Ptuj, Slovenia
