Phishing or fraudulent emails are sent on behalf of Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Zrt
Today we became aware that unknown person(s) sent phishing emails to some of our partners from an email address that is in no way connected to Veszprém-Balaton 2023 JSC. The purpose of such messages is usually to obtain your personal data and confidential information.
These emails were sent under the impression that the sender was Alíz Markovits, CEO of Veszprém-Balaton 2023 JSC.
Please be informed that Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Zrt. immediately started to investigate and inform potential data subjects after becoming aware of the above incident.
What should you do?
1) Do not open the email!
2) Do not click on the link in the email!
3) Do not share your personal details, passwords or other confidential information.
4) If you have already clicked or entered data, change your password immediately and report this to your organisation's IT support department.
5) Delete the email from your email system.
