Chamber Choir of Kósa György Basic Art School for Music

The choir has been operating as a chamber group of the Kósa György Basic Art School of Music in Balatonalmádi since the 2017-2018 school year. It consists of enthusiastic young people between 12 and 20 years of age, who sing with passion in addition to their instrumental studies. Its founding director is Katalin Varga Nádasné. The isolation caused by the pandemic has also affected this newly formed ensemble, but at the same time it has emphasised even more the value of collective singing and the community-building power of making music together. That is why they chose the words of Klára Kokas as their motto: "Singing is togetherness woven from voices".
