Chamber Choir of Kósa György Primary Music School

Since the 2017-2018 schoolyear, the choir has been a chamber group of Kósa György Kósa Elementary School of Music in Balatonalmádi, consisting of young people aged 12-20 who are enthusiastic singers and who are studying instruments. Founding conductor: Katalin Varga Nádasné. The isolation caused by the epidemic has affected this newly formed ensemble, but it has also highlighted the value of singing and playing together to create community. That is why they chose as their motto the words of Aunt Klára Kokas: "Singing is a togetherness woven from voices."

It is very important to them that everyone feels responsible for the work presented and shares in the joy that comes from it. As a result of the past six years of teaching, they have become a team that strives for quality work, balanced choral singing and musically discerning work. They regularly perform at city events and school programmes, and their goals include participation in choir competitions, meetings and qualifying competitions.
