It is literally a unique opportunity to see and hear the world-famous Milanese orchestra Il Giardino Armonico in Veszprém on 18 October. The ensemble burst onto the international classical music scene in 1985 with a fresh, powerful, and effective performance style that has left a noticeably inspiring mark on the way music is performed and approached around the world.

They come with a programme entitled "Trauer", which includes Haydn's Symphony in E minor with the title "Trauer". As well as Haydn's symphonies, they will also play works in the chaconne form that also deal with the theme of grief and mourning, and the chaconne form, with its emblematic lamento bass, provides the basis for a very moving expression of this.
