Representing the new generation of Jamaican musicians, Annaje' is the kind of gyal who produces a sunny house track as easily as a soulful reggae song accompanied by guitar.
Her own style of “futuristic reggae” is a dynamic fusion between roots rock and funk and heavily incorporates traditional Caribbean sounds and experiences. A velvety voice, radiant presence and the thirst to experiment will take her far, she arrives to the sunlit terrace of Homola Winery on 28 July. No better soundtrack to a panoramic sunset than Annaje's futurist funk reggae.
