One of the earliest proponents of the Rastafari faith, Dawkins was forced to a halt in the early stage of his career for Marijuana posession, but went on to make a mark nevertheless. He worked with the likes of Peter Tosh and Lee Scratch Perry, his songs featuring on legendary Trojan Record releases. Penning classics like ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Hard to Handle’ and ‘Dreadful Situation’ , Dawkins remains true to the roots, passing the message from the pulpit of St George Hill.
