VEB2023 implementation

Every May, the largest multidisciplinary arts festival in the City of Queens fills the streets of the castle quarter and the city centre with a colourful cavalcade of free music, art, theatre, literature and family events.

The Kiscsillag band, which defined itself as a hobby garage band when it was formed in 2005, is now Hungary's premier alt-rock band. The songs, always guitar-based but incorporating many different stylistic features, the dynamic performance, Lovasi's emblematic lyrics and the polyphonic vocal themes that appeared in the band's last years have made Kiscsillag one of the most characteristic, unique and boldly experimental productions, renewed year after year. In the current line-up, the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál és a Borz), are joined by Dávid Szesztay, who has now risen to the level of singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist, Imre Hajba, who joined the group this year, on bass guitar, and Ferenc Bajkai on drums.
