Nagy Emma Quintet / Veszprém Jazz Fesztivál

Celebrating their fifth birthday this year, the band has already played in multiple countries outside Hungary. Their essences are contrasts and dissonance, improvisation and variegation, happiness and spleen, everyday feelings presented in a grotesque and raw way, all packed up in a dreamy glow.

Though the members come from different backgrounds, they are great collaborators together: their colourful compositions include groovy drums, free improvisation, song-format contemporary compositions and more interesting approaches on 21st century jazz.
