Good atmosphere, friendly conversations, shared breakfasts, clean, quality and local ingredients. Shopping bags, baskets, perhaps canvas bags. Everyone goes to the market for different reasons and in different ways, but once you get a taste of the market, you'll get hooked. This is the feeling we would like to revive in Old Town Square. And this will be no different at the opening weekend.
At the farmers' market in Óváros (Old Town) Square you can buy directly from local producers and farmers from the Bakony-Balaton region. Fresh bread, sausages, home-made cheeses, jams and Balaton wines will be available for tasting.
To make the market even more of a community experience, there are also food trucks (buffet carts) in the market area, which are a great place for breakfast or lunch.
