OPENING – Archdiocese of Veszprém
Insight into the WIP'23 - WORK IN PROGRESS exhibition
On the opening weekend of ECoC, the Gizella Museum of the Archdiocese of Veszprém offers an extraordinary opportunity to get a personal insight into the moments of the historic investment that will take place between 2021 and 2025. In 2023, the year of the European Capital of Culture programme, the heart of the city and of our diocese, the restoration of the ecclesiastical buildings of the castle quarter will be at its halfway point, and will be made visible to all through a unique large-scale exhibition. During the opening weekend of the ECoC programme, we will offer a preview of the exhibition WIP'23 - WORK IN PROGRESS, which will open in spring. Guided walks will not only take visitors on a historical journey through our built heritage, but will also give them an insight into the latest developments in heritage conservation. Registration is required for the guided tours. Tours are at your own risk. Until then, you can follow the progress of the project day by day at https://www.facebook.com/aveszpremivarnegyedmegujulasa
