Did you know that plays are not restricted within the four walls of the theatre? We take performances out into unusual spaces you might not have thought culture could connect to. Well, it definitely can! Come and see for yourself!

SZABOLCS HAJDU director, filmmaker, actor TRILOGY - Veszprém, Hangvilla Three productions of Látókép Ensemble's trilogy can be seen by the audience of Veszprém on one marathon day, two of them as theatrical productions in an unusual space in the non-theatrical spaces of Hangvilla, and one as an unusual film version.

In the middle of the night, the wife's sister and her family unexpectedly drop by the Farkas family home. Ernella and her kin have returned from Scotland after a year away, and the bickering Farkases have no choice but to take them in. The unexpected reunion brings old grievances to the surface, but the new situation forces each of them to confront their own lives.

Kálmán's nameday is about the period of life when everything is just repetition in one's life, when there are no more turns to be expected, no more risks to be taken, just preserving what is already there because there is no time and no strength to start again.

One Percent Indian focuses on identity, inherited behavioural patterns, male chauvinism, feminism and modern gender roles.

Out-of-the-Ordinary Spaces (Free programme)

"All the world's a stage." Shakespeare's statement - in relation to the environmental and built spaces around us - is made tangible through our series of theatre programmes entitled Out-of-the-Ordinary Spaces. We bring theatre out into the public realm - streets, gyms, parks, markets, beaches - and to non-classical locations - mines, hilltops and observatories.

In 2023, a total of 12 plays will be performed at 5 venues - in Veszprém and in the region.

Entrance is free but registration is required: [email protected]
