There is an estate next to the church of Szentbékálla, here was once the tithe- and wine-cellar of the Esterházy family. Before the regime change this was the most popular restaurant of the are. In 2015, Sára Fegyverneky, her husband Olivér Auguszt and their business partner Péter Járai have revived the legendary “Pegazus” from its slumber. Since then, it is one of the most vivid cultural meeting point of Balaton Felvidék. Along with the culinary experiences, exhibitions, concerts, show nights and “matinées not-just-for-kids” make the time spent together unforgettable.

We would like to “increase the blood pressure” of the area with our colourful, entertaining and educational programmes involving fine arts, music, gastronomy and technology. At the same time, we would like to make it more than just consumption of culture. Together with the alternative, interactive, educational programme types we try to show visitors the everydays of arts, initiate them to the creative process, make them actively part of it.

András Bence Lajkó is our resident artist at Pegazus.

He introduces us to the surrounding landscape in his series. This is a new programme series at Pegazus, where the artist, musician and liveact artist AciDBenci invites us to a unusal trip; shows us the amazing bird calls of the Káli-medence, Balaton during a seance in the form of a unique, special dub-techno-dance performance. To the people who stays here after the weekend; in educational form, every Monday night.
