Ukulele - Be a trainee! Music Nursery - 07.12.
It affects you, surrounds you, calms you, uplifts you, helps you to express. That's what music can do! Take part in Soundplay programmes and experience the power of music for yourself!
An interactive music session for children aged 4-6 years with music, singing, movement and of course lots of laughter, led by nursery teacher Edina Geréb Krasznai and ukulele instructor Laci Huszti.
During the session, the little ones learn to play the ukulele and percussion instruments and make music together, so while having fun, they develop their social and motor skills, their creativity and talents, and they learn the joy of working in a team and creating together.
The sessions are free of charge, no prior training or registration is required.
The sessions last 45 minutes. During this time parents can wait for their children in the lobby.
Who holds the sessions?
Edina Geréb Krasznainé, teacher at Kastélykert Nursery. She is an experienced music teacher, plays the guitar, the flute, the piano and also sings. Her partner László Huszti works as a cultural organiser and musician. He has been working with non-formal pedagogical methods for 17 years and is a percussion and ukulele teacher. In 2018-19, he completed the 'James Hill Ukulele Initiatives' teacher training course.
How to prepare children for the sessions?
By dressing comfortably; they can wear socks or indoor shoes in the classroom. They should only bring food if it is absolutely necessary (e.g. in case of diabetes). They can bring liquids, but they will be given water, no need to bring a separate cup.
What musical instrument should they bring?
If you already have your own ukulele, please make certain you bring it. If you don't have one, no problem, we will take care of the instruments.
