World Music Day - making music with the Hangjáték(Soundplay)
Let's meet on 29 September and celebrate World Music Day by making music together!
With Soundplay, we deeply believe that if each of us played music just a little, even half an hour a week, we could make the world a better place!
Luckily, we have some fellow musicians who are doing their bit every day to bring music-making back into our everyday lives.
We want to celebrate World Music Day by making music together, where you can try out several of our activities in one afternoon. The programme is open to everyone! You can join in with drumming and singing whenever you like!
The youngest children will be able to learn about different instruments and tunes in the Soundplay, while older children can also learn to play the ukulele in the Ukulele - Learn with it! music vibe. Folk song lovers will be able to discover the folk song treasure of Veszprém county with Andrea Navratil, while lovers of more modern genres will be able to peek behind the scenes of electronic music making. To broaden our geographical horizons a bit, Dániel Franczia will take us to the world of exotic percussion instruments, and Zoltán Jankovics will take us all the way to Australia with the help of the didgeridoo.
