Bernadett Petri

Lawyer, EU expert. Previously, she worked as a lawyer on the operation of business companies, cross-border transactions and international treaties, and for over a decade as a consultant in Brussels at the European Parliament and the European Commission, including in the fields of law, international trade and policy. She is a regular contributor to publications on EU issues, a guest lecturer at several universities, Head of the Institute for European Strategy Research at the Ludovika University of Public Service and a researcher at the Institute for the 21st Century. Since spring 2023, she has been Managing Director of the Hungarian Development Promotion Office (MFOI) and since 12th January 2024, she has been Ministerial Commissioner of the Ministry of Public Administration and Regional Development, responsible for the coordination of the use of direct EU funds.
