Gábor Mayer
Gábor Mayer graduated in forest engineering in 2000 and in economics in 2003 at the University of Western Hungary and the Budapest School of Economics, respectively. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as a programme and financial manager of Phare pre-accession and cross-border Interreg programmes at Vát Regional Development and Urban Planning Non-Profit Ltd. Afterwards, he was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sopron and Head of the Centre for Higher Education and Industrial Cooperation of Széchenyi István University. From May 2022 he has been State Secretary for Regional Development at the Prime Minister's Office and from 2024 at the Ministry of Public Administration and Regional Development.
