Mariann Szabó

Mariann Szabó is an economist and regional researcher. Her research focuses on regions as complex systems and the spatial implications of promoting sustainable development. Since autumn 2016, she has been involved in the work of the Institute’s Kraft Center, including the evaluation of the 2017 Veszprém resident survey. She is the lead expert and coordinator of several domestic and international projects, including the VEB2023 ECoC "Nothing Special? The Gems of the Bakony" project. Dr. Szabó is also the professional lead of the 2024 Veszprém resident survey and related research at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Kőszeg.
