Vera Schleicher

She graduated in ethnographic museology at ELTE Faculty of Humanities in 1993. She has been working in museums for twenty-five years; from 2001 to 2016 she was the curator of the ethnographic collection of Laczkó Dezső Museum. It was during this period that she became interested in the social history of Lake Balaton and the opportunities and responsibilities of ethnography in the research of the region. A volume on her research was published in 2018 under the title Kultúrfürdő (Culture Bath).
