100NKA (pronounced 'stonka') is one of Poland's most exciting jazz trios, pushing the boundaries of classical sound with electronics and distorted guitar.
They have played with Béla Ágoston and Szilárd Mezei over a career spanning almost 20 years, but it was their concerts with Herb Robertson at the Are You Free? festival in New York that won them the greatest acclaim. In their music, the imprint of great predecessors Miles, Coleman and Coltrane is mixed with free pulsating contemporary influences.
