CultNet 2022
The CultNet VEB2023 programme is a collaboration of places and artists who can open up the ivory towers of art and make visible its community building power in the region's more remote settlements.
At each CultNet base, artist friends, musicians, writers and painters, locals and masters come together to transform the spirit of the place into an experience of dialogue, initiation and wonder.
From painting to classical music, from creative industries to jazz, from poetry to the underground, a series of cross-arts events, workshops and forums offers the opportunity to connect. Gateways and correlations open up between seemingly distant actors, local and big city contexts, traditions and genres, concentric circles of national and European self-definition.
At the bases, you can meet the arts, artists, art history and contemporary culture from an unusual proximity, in an intimate and sometimes participatory environment.
By 2023, the events of mediation, localism and closeness to the arts will have formed a network, opening up hitherto unknown dimensions of a specific Bakony-Balaton identity which is unique to us, and at the same time, will be markedly perceptible to European eyes.
